Trinity Fellowship Board Meeting
February 14, 2000

Present: Don Williams, Cindy & Ken Morefield, Todd & Sherry Truffin

Todd brought the meeting to order.

Secretary's Report

Minutes reviewed; Ken moved that the minutes be approved as submitted; Sherry seconded; motion carried.

Ken submitted a written financial report and budget report.

Honorarium
Ken made a motion that Don's honorarium be set at $100 per month for the first quarter of 2000; Discussion: this plan would allow us to pay a good portion of the past due honorarium from 1999, as well as get up to date for 2000; by the end of the first quarter we should have a good idea of what the regular monthly giving is, and the honorarium can be re-adjusted then. Cindy seconded, motion carried.
Recommendation
The board accepted Ken's recommendation in the financial report that Don be reimbursed for the church brochures and that the outstanding phone bill be paid in full. $500 of past honorarium and $200 for Jan./Feb. 200 honorarium to be paid toDon as well. It was agreed that Ken should pay the deposit and connection fee to get the phone reconnected, if he can do so and still leave enough in the account for upcoming rent.

Heater
The Truffins will bring a space heater to use in the nursery for the remaining cool weather.
Sunday School
Sherry is still looking into options.
Publicity
Todd is updating web page; Cindy will send Todd the minutes to post on web page; a publicity strategy meeting is still needed.
Inklings
Based on last Sunday's input, it was decided to leave Inklings on Sunday evenings, but change the order of events so that the sermon discussion is at 5:00, dinner at 6:00, and Inklings at 7:00.
Directory
Sherry obtained a list last Sunday, but we need to circulate it a few more Sundays before typing it up.

We're still thinking

The next board meeting will possibly be in two weeks, Monday, March 6; finalize on Sun., 3/5.

Ken made a motion to adjourn the meeting; motion carried.
